We love our Sunflowers and so do the BEES. Please be aware that there will be a lot of bees in our fields. They are doing their job so please do not disturb them and they will likely not disturb you. You may also find some of our animal friends in the fields like deer, wild turkey and other creatures lurking about.
Photographers: We welcome photographers to our fields for photo shoots. Please note we cannot guarantee when the flowers will be in bloom and there may be closure due to field or weather conditions. Photo shoots are during our normal business hours. No exceptions. If you are coming at 5:00pm or after, Thursday -Sunday, there will be our standard $5.00 admission fee for each car. You and your clients are welcome to stay after the shoot. Please advise your clients to wear proper footwear to get to the fields. We recommend sharing the above information with them, so they are best prepared to be at the farm.
We welcome the public to our 7th Annual Sunflower Cutting. There will be over 40 acres available to the public to walk and enjoy. Admission is free except on evenings featuring live music. Their mission is to cook and deliver homemade meals to families facing a cancer diagnosis in Dutchess, Putnam and parts of Orange, Ulster and Northern Westchester counties. To ensure that a good time is had by all we ask that you read the following before visiting the fields.

Former IBMer, John is the Patriarch of the family. Loves to chat up a good story and listen to yours. But don’t turn your back, as he might be gone. He has been known to leave without notice. You can often find him driving around delivering our products throughout the Hudson Valley. His partner in crime, Cheryl works for the Wappingers Court system and can sometimes be found accompanying him on deliveries. He has much pride for his family and often refers to his 3 grandchildren, Claudia, Delaney and Colin as his legacy.

I plan on and off premise events as well as run the inside sales. You’ll often find me baking our fresh baked breads. I’m always thinking about what’s next and enjoy coming up with fresh ideas for the company. The best part of my job is working in a Sunflower field with my best friend, the guy with the big black hat.
